Day 1 : Arrival in Leh on the first day
Our agent will meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation when you arrive in Leh. The sightseeing tour can begin once you have checked in and had a good night’s sleep.
The Three Idiots School will be your first stop when exploring Leh. In fact, Rancho’s school is the other name for it. The climax of the movie 3 Idiots was filmed at this school, and since then it has become a renowned tourist attraction.
The Shanti Stupa is your next stop. The stupa’s white dome has made it a popular tourist attraction. The remains of Buddha are housed within this monument, which is a Buddhist one. The 14th Dalai Lama blessed these for use. You’ll be awestruck by the Tibetan architecture at this stupa.
Leh Palace is the final stop of the day. The 17th-century royal palace is also known as ‘Lhachen Palkhar.’ It is now a popular tourist destination with a museum on-site.
After a long day of sightseeing, you’ll be glad to get back to your hotel for a restful night’s sleep.
Day 2 : Excursion to Sham Valley
Your Leh hotel’s breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day. Sham Valley is where you’ll be spending the day today. Afterwards, you’ll be able to head off on the adventure.
The Gurudwara Pather Sahib is the first stop on your itinerary as a tourist. In honour of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, this Gurudwara was built. There are numerous tourists from around the world who come to the Gurudwara to seek the blessings of Nanak Ji. A rock that resembles Guru Nanak’s back may be found in the holy spot and is regarded a place of worship. Afterwards, there’s the Magnetic Hills. You won’t find a better vacation spot than here. You’ve probably seen trucks descending a slope, but here they’re moving in the reverse direction. Rather than descending, vehicles in this area ascend. On your Amazing Ladakh Tour, you will be able to see it for yourself.
The Zanskar and Indus River confluences will be your next stop. The Indus and Zanskar rivers converge here. The Indus River is green, while the Zanskar River is blue. They meet in the Nimmu Valley, and it’s like a saga to bring them together. It’s impossible to capture the beauty of the scene in a snapshot, but you can see it for yourself.
Visits to Leh’s oldest gompa, Alchi Gompa, are also on the itinerary. You’ll also get to see the Ladakh Hall of Fame while you’re here. The hall of fame honours the heroic Indian troops who gave their life in the Indo-Pak conflict while defending their country.
After a long but enjoyable day, you’ll be glad to go back to your hotel for a rest and a nice meal.
